Modernization and progress can prove to be a great boon for many people. However, if cities are not careful at making sure opportunity and support is spread, inequities will start to arise. Bridging these inequities with creative solutions, is the concern and focus of our speakers’ work. Nic Palmarini is the Director of the United Kingdom’s National Innovation Centre for Ageing. And Sana Afouaiz is the Founder & CEO of the Womenpreneur Initiative, a project focused on advancing women’s place in the entrepreneurial scene, she’s also been named in Belgium’s 40 under 40, and is a Juror for the Queen Mathilde Foundation.
