The City of Stavanger is the first in Norway to make ALL public transport free to locals. On July 3, the city launched an app offering free tickets for all public transportation to its residents. Over 40,000 people had already signed up for the service before its introduction, allowing them to download tickets for buses, trains, and local ferries.
