European ride-hailing company Bolt is partnering with Estonian company Starship Technologies to use self-driving robots for food delivery. Bolt intends to deploy thousands of these robots across several countries, starting in Tallinn, its home city, later this year.

As a competitor to Uber, Bolt boasts over 100 million customers across Europe, Africa, West Asia, and Latin America. On the other hand, Starship has already accomplished 5 million commercial deliveries globally, making it the first autonomous delivery company to reach this milestone.
