Elon Musk has reportedly purchased thousands of acres of land in Texas to build a new town called Snailbrook, where employees of his companies Tesla, SpaceX, and The Boring Company can live and work.
Musk envisions it as a "Texas utopia" along the Colorado River and owning the town will allow him to set regulations and expedite plans. The town’s name comes from the mascot of The Boring Company, a snail called Gary, and Musk plans to create state-of-the-art amenities to incentivize workers to work long hours.
